There are street markets and antiques markets in Rimini almost every day and every evening. The main market, which is the largest in Emilia Romagna, is held every Wednesday and Saturday morning in Piazza Cavour and Piazza Malatesta. A market is held every Thursday during the summer in Bellariva whereas in Miramare it is held every Tuesday, in Viserba every Monday and in Torre Pedrera every Sunday. During the summer, an antiques market is held every Tuesday evening in Marina Centro and from July to August, don?t miss Wednesday and Friday evenings in the city centre with the 'Rimini centro vivo' (Rimini a living centre) initiative.
Piazza Cavour is the centre of daily life for people who live in Rimini. There are shops and caf? on one side and the other side is flanked by solemn palazzi. At one end of the piazza, you can see the majestic neoclassical Teatro Comunale, inaugurated by Giuseppe Verdi in 1857. The old fish market is on the left hand side of the piazza; it houses an enormous marble table, which was used to sell the fish. Nowadays, it is used as a display area for artists or market sellers.
This is how a popular clothes label decided to attract customers, maily women in their boutique:-)
LOL shall we congratulate with their marketing genius?
