Cal Bar, Boobe's, etc: Aviano Nightlife
The best thing I can tell you is find the Americans to tell you where the spots are. When I was there, it used to be Manhattans in the winter and Diamontik around Roveredo in the summer. Papillion in Roveredo, Havana in Treviso on Sunday for R&B (black music they call it) Palmariva in Portoguaro, Odessea a little past Conegliano, Miró in Lignano, Hotel Caribe in Bibone, King in Jesolo, the spots in Venice, Cal Bar, Paladium in Vicenza, OK club, and Boobe's in Aviano. There are plenty of places for EVERY style. I was a Salsa freak. If you are too, Palmariva, Miro, and Hotel Caribe is where you'll find your aggressive salsa dancers like in Havana Nights. The great thing about Italian clubs is there are many rooms with every kind of music Salsa, House, Trance, Europop, Hip Hop, etc. You cant go wrong with any club you pick. There's not many clubs open on Mondays or Tuesdays for some reason. Wed-Sun seemed to be the party days.
Leave your inhibitions at the door! EVERYBODY parties too much, drinks too much, laughs too much, and has too much of a great time!
Dress Code: Dont forget that dress code when you pack. You arent in America! If you know anything about my Italian brothers and sisters, you know they dress, even in the grocery store. Dress up for this one. They will turn you away at the door. Especially at Havana and Odessea. They are very upscale, high end clubs.
Except around the base. You are amongst your American family and jeans, sneakers, and tee shirts are welcomed here (Cal bar, Boobes, OK club). Boobe's has great food by the way!
California Bar: bars and clubs
Mostly a bar with a lot of people getting drunk. not a quiet place to just have a drink and talk but have a very friendly staff
Dress Code: you can where just about anything there. as long as certain body parts are covered.
