    Villa Manin

Why do not you take me somewhere? Well, can a trip to Italy? Can. Sunny and nice weather. We got up a little earlier, filled our car with petrol, bought a vignette and go. On the highway we went down in Palmanova, and local road towards Codroipo headed to our first destination - Villa Manin. For this complex, I found on the internet and I was very interested to see how it looks. Villa Manin is a huge complex with a palace and a large park (which is unfortunately renovated in this time) in the midst of a small village just before Codroipo. In this palace are often held concerts (from classic music to Motorhead )and exhibitions. We were visited the complex and have coffee on a small square in the village.

    Be a Beach Bum

by argentia Written May 14, 2005

Take a trip to Lignano, about a 30 minute drive from Codroipo. It's a looooong stretch of sand with lots to do in the town. There are a lot of shops, restaurants, and outdoor cafes to keep you busy if tanning isn't your thing.

    Beware of the cat !!

by Tetreus Updated Jun 9, 2005

    2 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Noooo...we are kidding of course !!

This is the house cat. His name is Azeglio...we called him after the Italian president Ciampi who's first name is Azeglio.

Azeglio was already living in the garden of the house when we were moving in here.
At the end, .....we decided to adopt him. :-)
