Pay attention to the Italian pastry, you risk to take some pounds if you abuse.
The Italian breakfast with a soft bread and a pastry is delitfull. It's the trap.
The right address : Panificio Gobatto - Via del Bosco & Via Miramare open at 7AM (but they are late each morning)
Parking in Lignano is not easy nor cheap - large forbidden extensions and the streets near the beach have parking meter, with short term control and high prices. Most hotels have reserved parking, and that must be a point to consider when booking.
Our hotel - El Prater - had free parking a few meters distant from the hotel, in a fenced terrain, providing the guests with an extra key for the gate's locker.
Comfortable, safe, and free.
The city is safe and the police is present everywhere.
But there are some tourists who wait to be financed by the other tourists. So hide your purse and your valuables, even the basis things like towells and clothes. Close your windows and shutters when you leave.
A safe in the room can be usefull.
We got one during our last stay and we used it.
