From Roma - go to Bracciano by train - train FM3 towards Viterbo from the Ostiense Station, Trastevere Station or San Pietro Station. Jeann and I both went to Bracciano on the train for 5,40 round trip! You will arrive at the train Station in Bracciano center - near the castle.
Or, you can take a Cotral bus. The bus costs €4 each for a roundtrip journey. The trip takes about 45 minutes.
