There are numerous supermakets in the town selling Italian specialities and international brand names.
If you are staying in a self catering apartment you should be able to find almost everthing you need in the supermarkets.
Remember some shops close in the afternoon from 1p.-4pm.

What to buy: Amaretti biscuits and Cesanese wine are local products.

What to pay: By law you will be given a till receipt on purchase of all goods, either in shops or bars.
This will tell you what you have bought and the price.

Fiuggi is a little spa town. We stayed there for our Rome trip. It is 1-2 hour far from Rome. Locals were generally retired Italians, there were not many foreign tourists there.
