The cabbies here are the biggest rip off artists I've ever seen. They charge 6 euro to go from the pier (NATA refueling pier where military ships will pull into) to the base on top of the hill, its about a 15 minute walk and a 2 minute cab ride. After you give them 6 euro (some will try and charge you 6 euro per person) they will pretend not to have any change for your 10 or pretend to only have one euro or something. They are full of it!! Do not let them do this to you, refuse to pay anything if they dont have proper chainge, they will find the change pretty quick!!
