 icunme Says:  I have never seen - I have never imagined - a garden beach! Well, this is what you will find at Castel Gandolfo's Lake Albano. It is unique, imaginative, and satisfying. Lakeside lounging, dipping, sipping, in the midst of garden flowers, plants and greenery. Meander along... 

 icunme Says:  Find "your spot" - make it your own - you will see that the locals do this as you notice people tucked away in little niches all along the lake. Some with picnic goodies - some fishing - lovers sheltered by the lakeside foilage - kids kicking their feet in the lake - many... 

 icunme Says:  These locals have staked out a perfect spot for lounging on a stationary slanted dock in the lake and watching the boats drift by. And we have a good spot staked out for watching them watch the boats - an apertivo in the shade of a local cafe. 

 icunme Says:  You will see many people out there - in kayaks and canoes. Lake Albano was the site of Olympic watersports some years ago.
