I got caught by the volcanic (heh!) owner this place while strolling in a peaceful street in Bracciano back in June 2004.
The interior is quite nice, with tables lined up at the two sides of a long room. The food is pretty good, with lots of inspiration from the Viterbo and Grosseto area (also called Tuscia).
The wine list was vast and well-thought, with an obvious emphasis on wines from southern Tuscany. The bill was lower than I would have imagined
Favorite Dish: The energy and sense of humour of Roberto,the owner, cook, maitre, cash desk attendant and waiter, and the Morellino di Scansano from Le Pupille that he suggested.

Well, the owners hopefully will forgive me. Anyway, it's the main bar in the main square in Bracciano. It's got a few tables facing the square and the castle, whose views make your aperitivo all the nicer to enjoy.
Despite the fact that I sat down and got served at the table, the drinks came quite fast and the bill wasn't outrageous. A very nice place indeed.
