Language!

by Antfra

As a Portuguese speaker of the 3th european language, i don´t really care about spanish/castilian! Some italian/toscanian words are more similar to Portuguese than spanish/gipsy/castilian!Like german and english they have similar words but that don´t means that you as an english speaker you will understand all germanic words!Let me tell you, that in europe is tradition the rivallery and we dont like to be compared with our neighbours!Europe is more diverse even smaller than other continents!Outside of my country or of the Portuguese speanking countries, we speak English and that`s enough!By the way in spain like in soviet russia, they still have other nations, Catalonia, Basque Country and Galiza, (who will be someday independent)and in this nation they speak a variant of Portuguese language!

The castles light your way on the main road.

I love the night-time festival activities from the music to street vendors hawking knick nacks and others serving food of all descriptions. Torone is a special type of candy -- in Australia the closest thing to this flavour would probably be the bulgarian rock made by Daryll Lea. The Italian candy (like its loaf bread) is so hard that you just about need a hammer and chisel to get a piece off and you munch for hours. Mind you, you get a really tired jaw I can tell you.

The Festival of S Giovanni -- Formia

by unravelau

Formia has quite a supply of different lighting. This castle set was used for the festival of S Giovanni in 1998. The same image is placed at regular intervals the whole way up the main thoroughfare in Formia. In this case via Vitruvio holds the most decoration, and the market place has different ones.
