We visited a small shop Migliore Y Colangelo on the west side of town where we watched violins and mandolins being made. There was a small courtyard between buildings where we sat at a table and watched the makers work
be sufficient for some visitors, but not me. I have to get right in there as if I were digging up the remains of the bygone past. There is a smallish museum tucked in away behind the huge ancient theatre here and it contained some wonderful information about the thermal heating for baths etc. ................ as well as some statues, one of which may have lived on this base ............... who knows?
Minturno. It just looked like one of those shots before, during and after and struck me as quite amusing. What I would have had the authorities do, is beyond me but it's interesting don't you think? Maybe I could get some information regarding the reasons why, for each of them but quite frankly I wouldn't know where to start.
inside the upper levels of the castle at Minturno township. I can remember being astounded at the thickness of the walls of these ancient castles.
