Roman Forums, Rome
This is the Arch of Constantine between the Colosseum and the Roman Forum...
This is the largest of the arches built in Rome. It was built in 315 AD.
Favorite thing: walking along through the reasonably modern parts of rome and suddenly this- a little bunch of well preserved ruins among the madness that is the rome of today. a welcoming sight.
Favorite thing: After Coliseum you will probably go to the Fori Imperiali. And it will not be a mistake. Another great place in Rome from the past.
Favorite thing: Arch of Septimius Severus...The phrase...'Friends,Romans,Countrymen' was spoken near the base of this arch.
Favorite thing: See the Roman Forum. The Forum was the center of political, commercial, and judicial life in ancient Rome .
Favorite thing: TRAJAN'S MARKET... possibly the world's first shopping mall? :) Trajan's rule was from 98 until 117 AD.
Favorite thing: you can visit the forum and all the ancient archeological sites just in the middle of the city;everything is mixed up(ancient and modern),it is specific to ROMA
Favorite thing: Forum Romanum: Tigatons of old stone ;) the perfect place to spoil your imagination with pictures of former days, when rome sill was the formidable center of an entire civilization ...
