Favorite thing: The Christmas stable of Bethelem is shown in the Vatican Square from the Christmas days untill the end of January.

Favorite thing: Lots of crowds milling around as you would expect. Take time to fill your water bottle at the fountain, sit by the obelisk and take in the view of St Peters Basilica and people watch.
Fondest memory:
One of the highlights of Rome was the Vatican musuem and the Sistene Chapel.
Although your'e not allowed to take any pictures once inside, i really could not resist. lol

Favorite thing: There is a spectacular view of St. Peter's Square from behind the statues that line the top of the facade of the Vatican.

You must visit St. Peter's Basillica. No matter what your religion - this is a stunning piece of architecture.
