It's the place to go if, you don't mind being around some tourists. A great location right on the piazza, DJs most evenings and happy hour from 5-8pm. At the seventh-floor roof top bar of the fantastic Es Hotel. This place has got a real chic interior and a fantastic view ovet the termini station. I'm pretty sure you'll like Zest Bar if you're into the "typical" italian look. Designer wearing, over tanned, the guys shirt is open two or even three buttons too much and their gorgeouse girls on the highest heels you can imagine. Many people from italian TV hang around here. In winter the roof closes, but I like it best in summer when the pool deck opens of course!

Amnesia cafe is an elegant place where tradition and innovation come together perfectly. Laid out on two floors, with a smaller, more intimate room downstairs The choice of wines are limitless! When entering, there is a transparent glass floor, you will be surprised to find yourself standing over a beautiful cellar! if you want a bite to eat, they have a buffet with cheeses, sliced meats and other finger foods. Sisters club to the LEGENDARY supperclub in Amsterdam. The club in Rome is in a fabulouse 3rd century mansion. It has no sign at the door or bouncer outside. So, very easy to miss.. Inside though it’s real nice!! Waitresses massage you as you recline on the white beds.. You also eat while sitting on the beds, together with the rest of the Romans. You eat and drink, while violinists and DJs play for you. I at least fellt like Cesare by the end of the night.. ;-) The staff are not your ordinary kind, just be prepared for a different night out... Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: Via de 'Nari 14

Here they play too much Italian music, it's absolutley dreadfull in my ears. You'll find a lot of international jet-set crowd at Jackie O, so be prepared that drinks will cost you! Not really worth the visit at the end of the day, in my opinion. Leave a Comment Theme: Nightclub

The Fiddler's Elbow came recommended from by guidebook(Rough Guide) where it was mentioned that Newsweek hated rated this as one of the ten best bars in the world. Well such a claim is subject to argument, I did enjoy the place immensely. The Fiddler's Elbow was but two blocks from my hotel, so that was another reason I decided to stop in. The place was packed with hardly a place to stand. I eventually found a place at the bar beside a sixtish year old man. He turned out to be a Irish Clementine Monk and a very good conversationalist. Anyway this is the kind of establishment that draws both tourists and locals hence you could meet someone from anywhere. Since my visit, there has been another two establishments by the same owners opened up in Venice and Florence.

Rome may not be the hippest of capitals, but for those who know the right places, it is possible to party all night. Dolce Vita's days are far away but Romans still love to go out late and the fun only really commences after dinner. The wine-bars and caf?s lying between Campo de? Fiori, Piazza Navona and Via della Pace are the places to be seen. Irish pubs are also popular with Italians and expatriates, and can be a good place for a fun and informal night out. The biggest concentration of nightclubs lie in the Testaccio and Ostiense districts. One of the main drags in Testaccio, Via di Monte Testaccio, is literally lined with bars, pubs, live music venues and clubs. In Ostiense the scene has taken off in recent years and this is where to find some of the hippest new bars and so-called ristodisco, places where you can both eat and dance. This is a historic bar in the centre of Testaccio with an eclectic mix of music, drinks and décor. It's part bar, part music venue and part gallery space, with local painters and photographers getting to display their work on the walls. Pretty cool for a casual night out. Gilda is a big and famous club. If you go here you'll find politicians, actors and footballers dining or clubbing. They have two rooms for dining and other rooms for dancing. The music isn't that great though..
To get in here you have to have an invitation.... But if you look very stylish and tell the bouncers that you're visiting they might let you in. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: via Mario de' Fiori, 97Phone: 06-6784838
