Birreria Peroni: ...not only wine !!!

Me and my friends after some pints... :)

This is a great spot to taste some good italian beer (like the Peroni Gran Riserva) together with a great food too.
Beware of the waiters !! They like to joke a lot ...hehe...
A really funny place !
If you feel brave enough.... ask for the "special dish" of the house..... you won't forget it !!

It is always full of people... so better avoid to go there on saturday.

Dress Code: Super-casual

Al vino Al vino: Meet locals in the Enoteca

This is not a place to party and dance but something for people who love wine and talking. Every time I go to this enoteca I meet interesting people living in this neigbourhood and learn something new about life in Rome.

They offer a wide selection of italian wines by the glass and the bottle and also have a small menue.

Al Vino Al Vino !!: What about... WINE?

A very nice way to pass some hours with friends... is going to this wine-bar (enoteca)...
Very friendly atmosphere... and a huge choice of wines, liquors and typical italian spirits...

You can also have things to eat... like mixed salami and cheese... or handmade "parmigiana di melanzane" !!!

Dress Code: Whatever you like...

Hard Rock Cafe

The Hard Rock Cafe is a good place to go when you start to miss American food and just want to kickback and enjoy the tunes.

And do not forget to get the tee-shirt!

Dress Code: Come as you are but remember to respect the Italian culture.

Fave al Guanciale........ fresh springtime broad beans which are simmered with bacon and onion,,,,very yummy.

Crostata di Ricotta..........very tasty Roman cheesecake filled with ricotta,Marsala and lemon.

Spaghetii alla Carbonara......... chopped bacon, eggs and cheese with spaghetti....delicious.

Gnocchi alla Romana........small potato dumplings with tomato or just butter,,,,one my my favs.

Suppli.........beautiful fried rice croquettes stuffed with mozzarella cheese and i really loved these.

And always try the fine selections of olive oils and vinagers on the table.

Elegant and Romantic. You have the piano bar on the ground floor, the restaurant on the first floor and the disco on the top floor. This is a very old building (XIV-XV cent.)

The nightlife in Trastevere area seems very lively and safe as well to hang around for a drink and also for dining in one of many small traditional pubs and restaurants here.

I have been to few places for a beer and this is one of the best ones with good service and beer selection. Of course none is drinking Italian beer here, we had Scottish & English ales.
