*** SELECTED FOR THE VT TRAVEL GUIDE ! ***
Rome is full of good restaurants. This is a GREAT restaurant, a very special place that is worth finding. I just happened to be looking backward down a side street on my way to Trevi Fountain when I discovered the best Restaurant I have ever eaten at in Rome. As you descend the multitude of stairs you can’t but admire the contemporary artist work on almost every wall. It is part Pompei, part Roman Villa and it all works. The main dining room is an intimate place and the staff make you feel like you are sharing a secret. Even the vinegar was a vintage and the wines fantastic. Dinner was well prepared and well presented. Even the toilets are fascinating. Want a romantic dinner in Rome? Make sure this restaurant is on your travel list.
Emiliano and Roberto, the owners, have done a fantastic job!
Favorite Dish: A thick fillet steak with pepercorn sauce and a nice bottle of red wine! And have some vinegar with your salad. It is a bottle of vintage vinegar that would cost $100 a bottle in shops. All the ingredients in every dish are the finest available.
