This is a great place for pasta. Alfredo's is where the famous 'fettucine alfredo' was invented.
Dont be surprised to see people you recognise from the movies or world politiics. The restaurant buzzes with life and a good time is had by all.

Favorite Dish: Fettucine Alfredo. Invented in 1914, when the owner's wife fell pregnant and would not eat.
Alfredo rushed into the kitchen and whipped up some egg noodles with parmigiano and butter. Even his wife could'nt resist

We LOVED this restaurant! It was amazing! Not only is it the BEST fettucini alfredo you will ever eat but the waiters are really amazing! The decor is very nice as well! It is a little bit classier and fancy so we dressed up a bit for dinner. The waiters were very nice and helpful also not snotty at all! YOU HAVE TO GO HERE IF YOU ARE GOING TO ROME!!!

Favorite Dish: We only had the Fettucini Afredo

Alfredo's: It's only cheese, pasta and butter!

by johnaalex Written Sep 1, 2008

This place as being the restaurant where they invented Fettuccine Alfredo. I am sure the story the waiter goes at great lengths to tell is true, but to my mind there is the possibility that Alfredo dropped a load of cheese on his pasta by accident rather than deisgn.

Favorite Dish: Fettuccine Alfredo is practically forced upon you as a starter. Beware the serving is very big and is easily a starter for 4 (and I don't do small portions). The mixing of cheese and pasta is done table side to add to the theatre of the whole deal.

To be honest I was not that impressed.
