I'd seen this place on someone else's VT page (I'm sorry I can't find it again now so I don't know whose it was) and felt I must try it and we saved it for our last evening in Rome.
I'm sooo glad we did. It's wonderful, the staff are all completely friendly and we found a most charming waiter called Enzo (pics later). He was really helpful and sweet, for instance we tried hard with our Italian and rather than just correct us or speak in English he would help along. Or he'd speak in English if we asked him to. The place is almost completely local (there were at least 2 members from the parliament building just around the corner whilst we were there) but we were made to feel most welcome. The serenading guitarist was fun without being intrusive and the food was to die for and the atmosphere was quite warming.
Favorite Dish: The mussels, I had it as a starter but would have been just as happy with a bigger bowl and some bread! They were amazing...
