Given the location of Hostaria al Gladiatore, directly across the street from the Coliseum, it cannot but attract a touristy crowd.
The food is good, not great. It is ordinary, both in quality and imagination.
We took the opportunity, along with many other tourists, to escape a sudden rainstorm. Therefore, the suddenly crowded restaurant caused service to be slow.
Although there might be better places to eat in the area, if you are caught in a rainstorm this ristorante will keep you dry and satisfy your hunger, albeit in an ordinary way.
