Silvio Alla Suburra: Great food, great service and reasonable prices

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

In 2 months of tripping around in Europe, this was the only restaurant we returned to for a second night.

The menu is also a history lesson and explained that ancient Rome started in the Cavour area. Nearby was the birth place of Julius Caesar.

Small local street, but almost beside the Cavour Metro station. Great food and service and prices very reasonable. Indoor and outdoor dining.

Favorite Dish: I just loved their Pasta Carbonara - and when the waiter brough out my serve, he said with pride, "This meal is over 2,000 years old." He meant to say the recipe is 2,000 years old
