A group of us had dinner here on a warm August Evening. From the Tiber quai, Lungotevere Tor di Nona, we descsended a few stairs into a lane lined with old-style Roman houses. There was the trattoria; there was abundant room indoors, but we preferred to sit outside, with a beautiful romantic background of the picturesque lane, an old residential neighborhood, a few motorcycles and Smart cars parked nearby.

This restaurant was an excellent choice.
Excellent Roman dishes in a simple setting. The trattoria is hidden in a dead ended street below the Lungotevere and is more popular with locals than tourists. Makes an excellent lunch stop after a morning at the Vatican.
