One of 4 restaurants in this street that we tried. A group of 12, like we were, is bound not to go unnoticed and so every time we left the hotel or came back, all of the restaurant holders tried to get us in. This was the one we tried on our last evening.
Although service was a bit muddled up, we all enjoyed our dinner. After coffee, the owner brought us grappa and various Italian liqueurs which we enjoyed for free. Every now and again the owner would come by, point towards the bottom of the bottle and say: that's the best part! Drink, drink!
We spent about € 25 per person, including all drinks: wine, mineral water, coffee
A specific detail that must be mentioned: this hotel does not allow street musicians or flower sellers to come inside.
Favorite Dish:
I had prosciutto e melone (ham and melon), spaghetti vongole (home made pasta with clams), tripes a la romana. And a wonderful chocolate/noisette cake to finish.
Around our table I saw (and tasted) that the swordfish (grilled) was exceptionally good.
