We booked Romashuttle to take us from the airport to the hotel and back. Their service was impeccable. On time and well dressed. Also very well priced.

Okay buses are cheap, but packed. Taxis were also cheap, all were honest and much easier in the long run.

even if you don't speak italian everyone know what euro notes look like. Just hold up what you want to pay and if they don't like it - get someone else.

It is very difficult to find a taxi at Rome, ask for them at your hotel or restaurant, at the street is imposible.

The best way to get from the airport to the city is to rent a taxi. It is between $40 to $50 US one way but it is really worth it.
The only way to get around Rome is to walk.
