On the fast train to Rome

Since January 2009, there is a FAST TRAIN (treno ad alta velocità) from MILAN to ROME and it takes only 3,30h (instead of 5 or 6!)

    Termini Station (Rome, Italy)

The most important hub of Rome for trains, metro and bus.

Piazza de Cinquecento (although the address is not very important).

Taking a train is definetly very easy and convinient to go for day trips in towns near Rome. It's also very cheap! Plus, it's so senic, it's almost an experience on itself!

    Termini Station

Termini, the main train station in Rome, is a huge modern complex and integrates well with the bus staion in the piazza just outside and the metro links.

The best way to get from Rome to Tivoli is by Train from Termini station. The rest of the city is easy to reach by bus or underground.
It as even possible to do a lot on foot.
