The restaurant is in a farm. The owner is very nice and very helpful. They grow Chianina cattle there, vegetables, fruit and make olive oil. The restaurant is located in the middle of a huge farm, beautiful place and view. They have there rooms for rent too, with a wonderful pool.
The food was great. We ate hand made spaghetti with lemon and a meat powder, and nioqqi with fresh tomatoes. Both were great but maybe the spagheti was more special. We ordered a Chianina big steak for both of us that was very very good. The meat was cooked in a simple way, in order to enhance taste and organoleptic features. For side dish, we ordered a fresh salad and ccooked vegetables that were very tasty too. Next time we will make reservation for the room too. It's a place to return.
Favorite Dish: Take the lemon spaghetti, its very tasty and very special. The meat was very good too, soft and tasty.

Not having been there by day, I think I may have missed out on Santa Lucia's best aspect, none the less, it is an outstandingly beautiful place. For more information about the property's history, I'm sure the website provides details, but in brief, the restaurant is housed in the main farmhouse of this massive property. I believe it has been run by the same family for a couple of centuries. They are particularly well known for the cattle breed and reared on their land. The same cattle which end up on the plates of happy diners at Santa Lucia!
Favorite Dish: Everything was fantastic, from the appetiser of prosciutto and porcini mushrooms to the soup of chickpeas and chestnuts. The real show stopper though was the "Fiorentina" steak (1 portion of 1 kg divided between two was more than ample). This really was the best meat I have ever eaten!
