There are many beautiful traditional Christmas Markets in December in Trentino.
The most famous are in Trento, in Caldonazzo, in Levico Terme and in Arco.
You can find typical food and wines, but also handmade glassware and wood items.
It is certainly the best spot for special Christmas presents.

Favorite thing: as i couldnt go on the schedualed trip into the dolomites because of my blood pressure we took a trip by train that is situated down the road from the christmas market and you cant miss the train station, we whent to trento a ticket there was 5 euros for two people and then the same back, but trust me it is money well spent, the train is very modern and clean and the journey takes 45 minutes each way which is value for money i would highly recomend that if you go to levico terme then you have to go and get the train to trentino it is well worth the time.

Favorite thing: the christmas market at levico terme is like no other ive ever been to as the market is all these little stalls selling everything from nick nacks to hot food gluvien and jewellery and gifts for all tastes, the thing that is extra special about this market is that it is in levico terme's park that is sittuated just up the road past a lot of shops and you have got to see it at night that is a must,
Fondest memory: my husband getting me the most unusual present of a pencil that as got a small carved elephant attatched to it and the whole thing is carved out of a tree branch it is gorgeous

Favorite thing: The Levico Lake is one of the most important in Trentino, you can swimming, walk around, or make a trip with a Mountain Bike.

The nicest location all year round, it hosts fantastic children-friendly events such as the Pumpkin Festival in fall and the Christmas Market in December. Beautiful alpine Spa next to the Lake Levico
