We stayed in a vacation rental by owner at the golf community adjacent to Garlenda, a tiny town above Alassio, last Spring. It was magic!
We had lunch at Rosalina's -- home cooked Wild Boar, rabbit, and baby lamb chops. The "verdura" was spinachi & potate, served family style, and, as we were enjoying our lunch at a table by the window, a flock of sheep wandered its way up the street to the field across the way.
Sometimes, the best part of travel is being able to stop being a tourist, and start being in the moment.

Favorite thing: Just like the Hollywood Walk of Fame or the Canadian Walk of Fame, there is the 'Muretto' in Alassio, Italy!

There are over 500 tiles signed by celebrities :)

    Very intriguing to explore.

A statue of a couple in love is located also on the wall.

When I think of Alassio, this is definitely the first thing that comes to my mind - great memory!

Definitely a place to check out!

Fondest memory: I remember running into the waves of the sea, wearing jeans & yelling I LOVE ITALY! Yes, I am a crazy Canadian & I'm not done yet!! :)
