If you are tired after being on your feet all day visiting Madrid and you want to stop for a drink at the Plaza Major do ask for the drink card. If you don't they will bring you what they want together with tapas and you can get a bill of euro 90 just for a pre-dinner drink.
Unique Suggestions: Just ask for the drink card or the menu. My friend didn't ask for it and when I joined her at the table it was too late.
