The Cinque Terre is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

The villages are gorgeous, the views breathtaking and the energetic hikes give you a great excuse to eat plenty of gelato!!

Make time in your next trip to Italy to visit this magical place.

Corniglia is a pretty village perched on a cliff, with cobbled narrow streets and scenic views.

Stop off for a gelato and an espresso!

We walked from Manarola to Corniglia in about 45 minutes. The sun rays the whole path long, and we saw the beautiful beaches and the beautiful blue sea beneath us..
We walked along the sea in a height of about 30 m.
A lot of stairs, from where we had a fantastic panorama, brought us to Corniglia within 10 minutes

Corniglia is considered the most characteristic village of the Cinque Terre as it is the only one far away from the sea and there for also from the tourists influence.
It is worth having a walk in the middle of the narrow side streets which will lead you to a small square high above the sea from where you can admire the whole coast.

This village, which looks more like a rural than a seafaring village, is the only one in which houses are not directly on the sea, and reses on the top of a headland. On the surrounding hills, vines and olive trees are grown.

Go down to the platform overlooking the water and enjoy a beautiful sunset with some red-wine there. Also, have some coffee with the locals at the only bar in town after everything closes down for the night.

I would go on runs in the morning, and then on my way back pick up some fresh orange juice and fresh bread, cheese, and fruit for everyone to have.

After spending half a day there at the beach, I had to reach back the train station; Had to get back because Vladimir prepared a dinner on that evening with some of his mates.
Photo is showing the path just behind the train station where there are some people also waiting for the train to some other Cinque Terre destinations or back to La Spezia...

As I entered the beach, I saw this sea sight...
Could see some yachts, sailing in the blue sea; People swimming etc.
This is a private beach area so I had to pay to be in this area but it was damn worth it for me, at least...

    I found the tunnel !
Walking through this tunnel was great fun ! There's a door, shut closed.
I pressed the button & came a voice, talking Italian of course...
I didn't understand, then an Italian couple came behind me & the guy answered the call, saying like 3 of us wanted to enter.
The guy's girlfriend just smiled at me...
We entered & walked about half a mile (that's a long walk !) when we finally came to the beach...
    Love what I saw !
