Favorite thing: The Cinque Terre is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.
The villages are gorgeous, the views breathtaking and the energetic hikes give you a great excuse to eat plenty of gelato!!
Make time in your next trip to Italy to visit this magical place.
Fondest memory: Corniglia is a pretty village perched on a cliff, with cobbled narrow streets and scenic views.
Stop off for a gelato and an espresso!

Favorite thing: I seem to have a lot of tips on relaxing in various places. I guess that is because it is one of my favourite things to do. I like to sit and watch the world go past - why wear yourself out running from place to place?
Corniglia is a lovely place to do this. It's lovely narrow streets lead to tiny squares with cafes and ice cream shops. Everything is up and down - there are no flat, straight streets in this village, which makes it inviting to wander around in. There is no rush to get to a monument, no rush to be the first in a queue. A place where you can notice detail. My kind of town.

Favorite thing: Go down to the platform overlooking the water and enjoy a beautiful sunset with some red-wine there. Also, have some coffee with the locals at the only bar in town after everything closes down for the night.
Fondest memory: I would go on runs in the morning, and then on my way back pick up some fresh orange juice and fresh bread, cheese, and fruit for everyone to have.
