Hey, i am in La SPezia now. there are a lot of bars and cafe style places in the main shoopping centre next to the Marina.
If your after more bar/club action you will need to get in a taxi and travel 20 mins down the road towards florence to the Marinas down there, they have some really good clubs and nights out.
We asked in a Bar in La Spezia called `Map` they gave us advice on nights out ;)
good luck

Well, like most places in Italy this deployment it has been pretty quite compared to most places we have visited in the med.
As far as clubs and bars go, its just the regualr cafe style nights out, which are ok if your with female company but not so great if you just want to get on it with the lads!
There are a few night clubs but they are all about 20 mins in a taxi which costs roughly 20 Euros to get there!

This is a popular hangout for the younger crowd of La Spezia and was full of people all three nights I went. They serve drinks as well as basic snack items, like sandwiches and pizza. They have internet access as well and the place is decorated with a youthful exuberance that is remincent of many popular American clubs. They have flat screen TVs playing music videos in both Italian and English. This is a fun place to come and hang out when visiting La Spezia, why they even have their own t-shirts for sale!

Address: Located on Sapri Ave
There wasn't much to do at night when I was there so I just enjoyed sitting on the porch enjoying the evening with a good bottle of wine.
