This is the place, where I parked my car for 5 days in Lavagna.
Make sure the marked lines on the street are white, and no signs restrict parking for motorhomes...
All day long the curtains were open and it looks like a car, parked while the tourists live in an appartment or hotel.
Late at night I came back to the car, closed the curtains and was up again next morning before 09.00 a.m. - while the whole town of Lavagna seemed to be still sleeping

Motorscooters are a great way of transportation in all parts of Italy.
Easy to park and easy to drive through all the small and tiny streets.
And all over Italy you will find lots of extra parking-spaces for motorscooters only

The train is certainly the best way of transportation between Genua and La Spezia.
And you will see plenty of great coastal sceneries ONLY from the train, as the streets are built partly a bit backwards from the coastline.
