There isn't much in the way of nightlife in Manarola but there is a great little bar on the main street. Owner Gabriel is very friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is cozy, it's easy to come into contact with locals and occasionally there is live music. Prices are also good. Bruschetta is only 2 EURO and there is plenty of liquid sustenance to be had.

The Cinque Terre has some of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.
My favourite thing to do in the evening is to pull up a seat at a bar, just sit by the harbour and watch the sunset.
It is also a great opportunity to do some people watching - as everyone seems to be out enjoying the view!
Dress Code: Make sure you have a warm top - it can get cooler after the sun sets.

the first night we were here we ended up in the middle of a graduation party celebrating someone passing the bar exam i think and we were treated like part of the party. impromtu guitar playing and singing, very casual atmosphere, very nice owner who is also a talented artist, just a very fun and relaxing place with a lot of young people.
Dress Code: i doubt there would be any dress requirements.

The mood changed dramatically once we sent these gentlemen a bottle of wine! They showed their appreciation (?)by singing a Tracy Chapman song.

After a fabulous dinner we walked a few doors down to the only pub in town. We took a seat in the corner and listend as the local residents sang together. These guys rocked!
