definitely a local custom: it sounded strange to me too when I read that the rose garden opens at 8, and this is normal, but it closes "when the bell rings" which is not a normal closing time... lol...

cats in Liguria can be considered a custom and for sure it's a custom for me to take them pics whenever I can...
this one in particular is a very old lady which was taking a walk out of its garden or at least so said to me its guy... yes, don't you know that we belong to cats and not viceversa ;-)...
