Most of the houses have great palmtrees in the garden and so you may see, how warm it is all year long on the Ligurian coast.
I may imagine, it is quite expensive to own such a house in a great place like Nervi, so close to the big city of Genua and still somehow almost out in the countryside...

Chiara and the cats...
Whenever we met one, she took a picture and had a little talk with the cat, and the cats talked with Chiara ...
so it might be interesting to see this pic taken by Chiara in Nervi...
It is on HER Nervi-page of course and looks much better than mine...

Once that you are in Nervi, you should also go and see the beautiful villas back in town.
Most of them have a great garden or even a park around them with lovely palmtrees.
The most beautiful are close to the train-station.

Watch out for the plenty of squirrels - they get rather close to your benches...
Well, as I said before, we had an Italian Sachertorte in our rucksack and tried it on one of these benches...
Well, how should I say ???
I guess it is time, Chiara will come to visit me in Austria and we try the REAL Sachertorte in Vienna or Salzburg

There are plenty of tropical flowers and trees, that I knew only in small versions, planted in a small pot in Austrian living-rooms...
...but here they are huge trees and look really great and interesting and live in the garden the whole year long.

This Rosary is certainly worth a visit, when you search for a nice and quiet park with great palmtrees and lovely roses...
Roses ???
It was too early in the year to see any blooming roses... :-((
Have a look at this sign :
They open at 08.00 a.m.
and they close, when you hear the signal...
Its the first time I saw an explanation like this ...

Nah - not at all - Nervi is lovely. I was told it was one of the oldest touristic areas in Italy. Not for seeing old stuff and history and that - but for relaxing and resort type stuff. Building a......

It's mid February, the sun is shining, it's warm enough to sit outside without a coat, no wonder so many Brits choose to live abroad!
