    The oratory

Down in the village of Portofino you will see a small oratory, where I saw this typical kind of cross, that I did see at many places on the Ligurian coast.
There is this characteristic decoration of all the 3 ends, at some other places like Vernazza, these also decorated with feathers and flowers.

    Villas

Red coloured villa is definatelly my favorite house, it doesn't look big as other villas but is twice more charming. Its colour matching perfectly with the greenery all around the house. One day, if I become Billy Gates will certainly buy this house to spend my years after retirement in it.

my favorite villa this one isn't bad either too big too big too big

    a walk by the sea

If you want to go for a nice walk, you can take the trail by the sea (unfortunately you’ll have cars driving nearby) and walk from Portofino to an area called Paraggi. There’s a lovely bay and beach there. The whole walk takes about an hour and there are many interesting places to stop for some nice views.

To return to Portofino you can take a local bus – which run fairly frequently between Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure, which is 5 kms away. It’s also a good idea to park your car in Santa Margherita Ligure, as in Portofino parking is limited and very expensive… I’m talking some 20 euros for a couple of hours
