simply I have liked it and I'm totally excited about sailing... only I'm such a beginner completely green at it...
I had my first experience with a sailing centre, Horca Myseria, the office of which are in Milan and the bases for the boats in Portovenere and Isuledda (in Sardegna)...
Equipment: the best gear to bring is a watertight wetsuit (jacket and under part) and the ones I got (thanks to the first class sailors who lent them to me) let me enjoy sailing under the rain without letting a drop reach my cloths underneath...

The beach called Sporting Beach is narrow and over-crowded, simply not my favourite.

Sports in Pontovenere? OK, try to climb the hill in sunny midday with heavy rucksack on your back. Not enough? Put some stones inside your rucksack - there are many around hehe.
