During our 15 day travel through northern Italy the dinner served at this restaurant was the worst. My grilled chicken was raw. The plate with grilled vegetables tasted awful. The red wine we had was carbonated. In addition we had to wait quite long to get the food and we didn't get it at the same time. We tried to eat some of the food but we had to leave much of it while still being hungry after having paid 54 euro for this terrible dinner.
Don't expect the waiter to speak any English and the menu is in Italian only. I acctually don't understand why we considered this restaurant at all since the street is not very nice. Maybe we thought that the food would be better and cheaper in a less touristic area. We were wrong. AVOID THIS TERRIBLE RESTAURANT AT ALL COST.

This restaurant really has got a breath-taking view. It is right in front of Rapallo's castle , so there are no smelly cars disturbing while having dinner. Besides the exceptional location, the food is also very good. My husband is celiac and they offerd us special pasta for him with a superb clam sauce. I personally had fried ravioli which are fabulous. The staff is very nice and speak English quite well so we asked them loads of information about the towns nearby and things to do. We were staying in Rapallo for 3 nights and went to have dinner there 3 nights in a row.
Great!!!!

Local restaurant in a very non-tourist part of Genova. Started out pretty quiet (really only one seating) but filled up quickly; we had a reservation and others without were told it would be at least two hours or turned away completely.
With barely an extra inch of space for travel, we saw two servers accidentally bump and three plates of gorgeous food ruined.
Good natured, wonderful service despite our language barrier, and food that was out of this world - don't miss it!
Favorite Dish: No one spoke any English, so our Italian dictionary came in handy for some basic translations. At one point we just asked our server what she would recommend and the food started coming... Small ravioli with shrimp and lots of butter, homemade lasagne noodles with fresh pesto, and the biggest (and tastiest) seared tuna steak I've ever seen were among the items she brought. The half-caraffe of house wine was 5 euros and was the best wine I had during our travel.

Decadent but still fascinating

Rapallo used to be the most charming italian touristic destination during the 50's and 60's. At that time hordes of newly rich Italians (especially Milanese and Torinese) bought their second houses......

Rapallo is one of those very pretty towns at the Riviera di Levante. It has some very nice shops and some fine hotels and restaurants.
