Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Don't forget to pack some shoes suitable for walking/hiking along the cliffs between the towns on the Cinque Terre.
Photo Equipment: A camera is a must. The coastline is spectacular. Digital is best - that way there is no limit to the number of photos you take!!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Shoes... especially if you want to go hiking... but also if you're thinking of taking a walk along the via dell'Amore. Bring some walking shoes: I've seen countless fools trying to walk about in fancy shoes or, worse, high heels... I can assure you of one thing: they looked in pain, and they looked as if they were in trouble
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: a sun lotion can be useful.
Photo Equipment: bring plenty of films... photo opportunities abound
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: a water bottle can be useful.. some villages are a bit far apart.. and there's not always a restaurant or bar in the middle where you can quench your thirst

Luggage and bags: Keep it light: This is definitely backpack / rucksack country. There's lots of sunshine with a little wind. You'll be walking up lots of steep hills.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Light hiking summer gear with good hiking shoes.
Maybe some swimming trunks unless you want to let it all hang out at nearby Guvano beach.
Photo Equipment: A hi-res camera or a good 35 with lots of filters and film. The cinque terre is beautiful.
