This nightspot is situated next door to the Hotel Paraggi which is halfway between Santa Margherita and Portofino. You can catch the local bus from Santa Margherita bus spot and walk home if you miss the last bus.
It's buzzing in summer time......winter time I'm not sure about its opening times but check with your concierge and they will know the run down of its opening hours.
This is the place to go to meet the locals and other travelers. Its situated in the main plaza on the waterfront. The whole plaza is buzzing at night time and everyone hangs out around the cafes and restaurants, usually on a Saturday night there is live music blaring from any of the cafes, bars and restaurants.
We loved just sitting in one of the cafes people watching....especially watching the young Italian men protecting their "ladies"...it's a cool place to be !
My adult children had heaps of fun here mixing with the locals.
When you come from the east coast of Canada where there may be three nights a year when one can enjoy going outside without layers of clothing, the warmth of the Italian Riviera is an immediate aphrodisiac. Add to that a hard working town that likes to enjoy its nightlife and you have a recipe for what most of us dream about: a warm, relaxed and romantic atmosphere that in Santa Margherita you can enjoy from many vantage points along the Piazza Libertà on the harbour. Santa Margherita offers an array of nightspots for all ages in a safe and welcoming environment.
