Via Garibaldi 12: Household Items, Furniture & Design in Genoa
In Via Garibaldi, the most impostant street in Genoa, (Rubens found its elegance mesmerising, and was inspired to record its architectural history in the " Palazzi di Genova") at the first floor of Palazzo Campanella, made in 1562, you'll find a shop totally different. Household items, furniture, crystals, china, all is exibited like in a house. Under frescos made in 1569 and stucco works gilted and mirrors in Versailles-Style there is all for the house, from the copper pot to the Alvar Aalto's Vase. In this store you can find from the little gift (I've bought a wonderful olive tray that cost 8 €) to an extraordinary selections of porcelain tableware, crystal and cutlery, all contextualized in presentation by association with furniture and lighting from some of the greatest designers of the 20th century.Dont't miss the kitchen departement!
