Favorite thing: ... a Tabach (to buy smokes) and the foreshore (to check it out.)
The other villages close by show off their foreshores but the road through Sturla curved away from the sea.
It was Monday of course which is often the day that shops close and this Tabach was closed. And did not have that cute machina where you can insert euros and receive smokes.
But it did have a cat on display. An excellent cat - posing on its display shelf, with aplomb.
The foreshore was a jumble of boating clubs and auto repair shops.
I walked back up to the main drag and waited for my bus back to Bogliasco as buses to other destinations thundered past and a local signora took her bags off a seat in the shelter and invited me to sit down.
At least, I think that is what she was doing - my Italian is still not great but I was going by her gestures and body language.
