Costa Del America
While the Cinque Terre are extremely beautiful and definitely worth a few days visit and we will be back. NO OFFENCE guys but it is overrun with Americans in a HUGE way everywhere you turn. (Please do not take offence to this as it in no way affected our holiday...... and is great for the tourism in the area) its just VERY apparent its more like Costa del America. We have stayed in Monterosso twice and and love it alot for the scenery, weather & sea food. It would be nice to hear at least one tourist speak the native tounge to the locals and stop shouting English at them they are not deaf!! They are after all Italian!!! (again this does not apply to all tourists as some make the effort) If I see or hear mention of Rick Steve......good God ;o). Other then the beautiful hill walking, take an hour to sit by the sea and enjoy a bottle of the local Prosecco and watch the world go by followed...
