Posto Pubblico: Quiet and relaxing - a good way to end the day!

by Gillybob Written Jul 16, 2012

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

This modern wine bar was located opposite our hotel (Best Western Hotel Master) in Brescia which made it very convenient for "one for the road" (followed by a nightcap in the hotel bar).

The venue is quiet, subdued even, definitely a place to relax and quietly catch up with friends or simply sit and let the world go by!

The interior is lined down one side with floor-to-ceilling shelving which hosts bottle after bottle of wine, occasionally interspersed with jars of olives and other suitable accompaniments.

We spent a very pleasant hour or so enjoying our drinks and watching our fellow patrons.

    OPENING HOURS :
    Monday to Saturday : 10:00 - 23:00
    Closed on Sundays

Dress Code: None observed - but then you're in Italy and even casual is smart!

La Palazzina: Only lively place we found at September

by Turska Written Sep 26, 2010

We didn´t seem to find any places to sit out and have a beer or glas of wine and not be the only ones there. I think it might have been because we were there at september, and from moday to friday-morning, no weekend-nights.
Anywaym this place was very close to our apartment, and it was allways lively with lots of people, and even the music was o.k. (rock, not only disco, witch isn´t our thing really!) So we visited here every four nights we stayed. We allways took only one beer or wine, but anyway it was a good place for that.
One night there was a foodball-game and it was seen on the screen, but luckily it wasn´t anything important, beceuase people didn´t get laud, and most of them didn´t even watch. We managed to find a table where we didn´t see the screen. We don´t care about sports..
    They had a big terrace/beer-garden.
