As I’ve written earlier on this page, the stadium in Brescia is really well-distanced from the city-center. There are a bus going from the central station, C, I think is the letter you should be looking for. Or look for guys with Brescia-scarves. My advice though is to take a taxi directly from the station. You’ll find a taxi stop to the left right outside the station. It will cost somewhere around 8-10 euro to Stadio Rigamonti. After the game there is also a bus going back to the station. Just walk to the left when you’re outside the away-sector until you reach a big street after a couple of hundred meters. There you’ll find the bus-stop. “Only” problem is that this bus is so crowded that you will have to stay on one toe for the whole trip, and due to all the cars who’s going away from the stadium the trip will take more than one hour… This is the biggest problem with Brescia-games. After one trip with this bus I decided to never take that again. One hour with young Brescia-kids who thought they were the thoughest hooligans on earth really got on my nerves… Instead I always take a walk back to the station. Not to warm and nice during the winter, but still better than that bustrip… When you go out from the stadium, just follow the street to the right. At the next big street, turn left, and then follow that for a long time. Always go after signs for “centro”, and at the end (after 1,15-1,30 hours) you’ll see the signs with “stazione centrale”. Then you’re close… Even better is of course to go there by car, but then you’ll have to think about all the traffic after the games… Could be quite irritating to sit in a line for 2 hours just go get home from the game… Leave a Comment Theme: Bus

Brescia is located half-way between Milan and Venice; it is well serviced by highways and trains, making it quickly accessible from all northern Italian cities. * By car: from Turin or Milan take highway A4 Torino Venezia up to the exit at Brescia Centro. Or alternatively, from Turin take highway A21 which allows you to avoid traffic to Milan during busy peak hours. from Venice or Verona take highway A4 towards Milan up to the exit at Brescia Centro. From Bologna, Florence or Rome take highway A1 up to Modena, continue on A22 up to Verona and then get on A4 up to Brescia Centro. From Genoa and Liguria take A7 up to Tortona and continue on A21 up to destination. * By train: Brescia is located on the Turin-Milan-Verona-Venice line, with frequent trains both ways. Those coming from the center or the south of Italy must usually change at Milan. The station is located in the historic center. For times please consult the Trenitalia site or call the green number 89 20 21. * By plane: Verona Airport "Valerio Catullo" (VRN) offers connections with major Italian and important European cities. The airport is 64 km from Brescia and is connected to Verona's train station by a shuttle service. Brescia has a small airport with low-cost flights to London's Stansted and Rome's Ciampino airports. At 45 km from Brescia you will find Milan Orio al Serio (BGY) international airport. It is Italy's first low-cost airport with many flights for Italian and European destinations. Another option would be to access the two airports in Milan and continue by train to Brescia: Malpensa (MXP) is the main airport and also has intercontinental flights, while the Linate (LIN) airport serves domestic flights and some European links. The ryanair airport (Verona-Brescia or Montichiari) is quoted as 20 mins from Brescia and 45 mins from Verona, but I think the actual journey time is a bit longer. Ryanair operate a shuttlebus to coincide with their flights in each direction. To Brescia, it's 6 euros one way, 9 euros return. The ryanair bus stop is right outside the airport, or at the bus station in Brescia (stance 24 when I was there) in the other direction. Leave a Comment Theme: Airplane
