Luggage and bags: I travelled to Brenzone by train and bus - did regret having a heavy case, especially when having to drag it up the steps of Peschiera train station.
A day sac, large bag for days out to carry cameras, food etc
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: in June it was quite warm, but not unduly hot - I was glad of a cardigan or light jacket at night. Flat shoes, unless You've mastered the art of walking in heels like the Italians! Sturdy boots if heading off the beaten track into the mountains.
I did dress up a bit more at night - there was a mix of fashions-sportswear, smart casual etc, plus some very elegant Italian ladies parading at the weekend.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: I think there was a small pharmacy in Brenzone - there were a few in Malcesine. Bring essential medications and prescription with you. Sun lotions, lip salve etc needed
Photo Equipment: Everything you can carry - lots of photo ops! Photography shops in Malcesine. I think the newsagent/ ticket office in Brenzone had a limited supply of films and batteries
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Pebble beach at Brenzone - sunbathing gear, rubber shoes if paddling-slippy rocks at the waters edge.
Wet suits etc- windsurfing etc popular here.
Walking gear - plenty of mountain walks
Miscellaneous: Books- a chance to relax and catch up on Your reading. Art materials- plenty of scenes to capture. Binoculars - for spotting wildlife, birds etc.
Cutlery - for picnics on the beach. Bottle opener/ corkscrew - lots of lovely local wines to enjoy.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: swim suits, tennis shoes, casual clothing, rain coat might come in handy every once in awhile...
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: bring all the make-up you can find along on your camping trip - there are so many cute boys around... (especially when you are 11 - I mean "almost 13"....!) And step-mommy needs a little color to her face as well!!!
