"Kambusa" is one of the best restaurants in the small village of Lazise, which I strongly recommend.
Favorite Dish:
The food is fresh and very well prepared, afterall it has an Italian cuisine.
Take a local dish:
- zuppa alla verdura
- carne bolito con intorni
- white wine, I recommend "Bianco di Custozza"
We first saw this bench and a few men sitting there, sipping their glass of wine and reading a newspaper. Later we went inside and had some wine and antipasti there.
This is a fascinating place for tourists, that is visited by locals as well - we saw so many men just passing buy, stopping for a glass of wine or an esspresso and leave again!
The owner is a rather young man who speaks German as well and who puts a lot of effort in serving great food (including self-made noodles) to his guests.
It's in Bardolino. When you enter the town, just beside the lake. I suggest you to have sea food there. They're very fresh and well cooked and delicious!! 8))
The atmosphere was very nice..
Favorite Dish:

at mecki's bar: delicous cappucino
Varied antipasti with smoked trout, Sardine pate, stuffed red pepper, etc…
They have excellent red wine. We took Amarone della Valpolicella which was delightful but… 15.5°

It is so wonderful to sit outside the Café, enjoy a coffee or icecream or cocktail and have a look at all those people passing by and at the harbor! It is a must every time we walk to Lazise!!!
It is convienient and it is good:
the Tahiti Bar on the campground La Quercia has a nice menu to please kids and adults - and you don't have to do the dishes afterwards!
