Gargnano is my favourite village in this area of the Lake. the walk along the shore is pleasant, with a line of orange tree that, despite the storm, were full of fruit. There are several shops where you can buy the local specialties, cheese, lemons, oranges, home made liquour and more.
The main square have a little port and the sails make it pictoresque.
It is the perfect place to sit down in a caffe and sip your espresso or have a gelato, or a hot chocolate if it happen to you to be there in a stormy day of June :-)
Gargnago on the western side of Lake Garda was once an important agricultural and fishing centre, but today the town is now a popular tourist resort surrounded by olive trees and pastures along a mountainous region. Its promenade sits over the water and makes a most pleasant place to sit and have a drink and watch the boats come and go.
