Tremosine is a Fishermen's village 300 meters VERTICALLY above the lake. In ancient times the fishermen had only an extreme path through the almost vertical rocks (you can use it still today) down to the lake to reach their working place. Now one of the most extreme roads I have ever seen climbs up this wall. Unfortunately it is not possible to stop at the most spectacular places to take pics because the road is most of the way too narrrow to meet an other car...
In Tremosine itself are nice places to enjoy the panorama of the lake 300 meters vertically below.

Tremosine is a few small places ranging from lake level to 600 metres, collectively called Tremosine.
This is one of those villages, hanging off the edge of the cliff. Enlarge the photo & you will see one of the overhanging platforms I mention in my restaurant tip.
