As in many other old towns, driving iside ancient Mantova is almost impossible, there are no parking inside old city. So, you should use parking outside or near the wall. Then walk no more, than 5-10 min to the center.

Mantova: basilica di Sant'Andrea

ITALIANO

As it is a small city you'd better walk! You'll find everything you need with a map.
It is relaxing walking in this ancient city (maybe with an ice-cream in you hand!) and perceiving the smell of bread coming out the bakeries...
If you would like to use your car I'd suggest you to visit my web pages to have further indications about parking spaces and zone banned to circulation (almost all the city centre)

no traffic, walk on!

Even though Mantova offers a bus pass like other larger cities, you do not need one. You can walk across the city in 20 minutes and their is little traffic. It is a walker's dream city.
